California Tide Pools is an environmental education project. The basic site does not require an account and does not intentionally collect personal information.

The map uses OpenStreetMap tiles. Species images and external reference links may load content from third-party services according to their own privacy terms.

External links

The site links to parks, government agencies, conservation organizations, Google Maps, and other external services. Their privacy practices are controlled by those services.

If community submissions, analytics, accounts, or other data-collecting features are added, this page should be updated before those features launch.
